Viajes: Etihad Airways anuncia nuevos vuelos a Málaga para el verano, vía Marruecos

Etihad Airways ha anunciado que lanzará nuevos vuelos de temporada a Málaga en España, para satisfacer la fuerte demanda de vuelos que tienen los clientes de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos y de los países integrantes de la zona del Golfo para poder viajar a esta popular provincia de Andalucía.

En total se pondrán en circulación 3 vuelos semanales vía Rabat, la capital de Marruecos, desde el próximo 26 de junio hasta el 13 de septiembre de 2020. Los vuelos estarán operados por el modelo Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, que cuenta con 3 clases a bordo: 8 suites privadas de categoría First, 28 Business Studios y 190 asientos Economy Smart. La introducción de la aeronave también proporcionará una nueva capacidad de carga entre el sur de España y Abu Dhabi, así como más allá de los destinos dentro de la red global de rutas de Etihad Airways.

Robin Kamark, Chief Commercial Officer de Etihad Aviation Group, ha comentado: “Málaga ha estado en nuestra lista de deseos durante mucho tiempo y nos complace enormemente anunciar la puesta en marcha de nuevos servicios de la temporada de verano a la Costa del Sol, una región que durante décadas ha sido popular entre los viajeros de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos. Por el momento, este será el único servicio entre los EAU y la puerta de entrada principal a Andalucía. Además, junto con Madrid y Barcelona, Málaga será el tercer destino de Etihad Airways en España, lo que impulsará aún más nuestras operaciones exitosas en la Península Ibérica. Los nuevos vuelos serán operados por nuestros 787 Dreamliners de próxima generación, asegurando que proporcionemos el mejor producto y servicio a nuestros clientes que se dirigen por negocios o vacaciones a este destino del sur de Andalucía”.

El número de visitantes de los Emiratos a España ha aumentado rápidamente, gracias en parte al exitoso programa de exención de visado Schengen introducido para los ciudadanos de los EAU en 2015.

Por otro lado, Málaga, famosa por ser el lugar de nacimiento de Pablo Picasso, es el principal punto de entrada para los viajeros que visitan Andalucía. Además, el aeropuerto de la ciudad proporciona un fácil acceso por carretera al popular destino de vacaciones en la costa mediterránea, incluida Marbella, y más al interior, a las ciudades históricas de Sevilla, Córdoba y Granada. De igual forma, después de Barcelona, Málaga es el segundo puerto de cruceros más activo de la Península Ibérica.

Etihad Airways Launches Global Sale up to 50% Off and Encourages the UK to 'Experience the World'

Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, has today announced its annual global sales campaign, targeted at business and economy class guests with up to 50% off on selected routes until 6 September 2016, for travel until June 2017, as well as a prize draw offering $200 credit to one hundred lucky winners. The sale comes at the perfect time as British holidaymakers start to plan their winter sun escape.

To encourage people to make the most of their holidays, Etihad Airways surveyed more than 2,000 British adults through YouGov*, to ask what they would spend their money on when travelling.

The research has shown that over two thirds (69%) of the people sampled, said they prefer to explore their destination in ventures beyond their accommodation whilst abroad - and almost half (49%) said they would spend a competition windfall on cultural tours or dining out.

Additionally, almost a quarter (22%) of the respondents would rather have a shorter stay packed with experiences rather than a longer stay with fewer experiences - suggesting many travellers desire to make the most of being in a new destination.

Etihad Airways' limited edition global sale offers up to 50% off fares to forty-five of the world's most popular destinations, from destinations across Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Americas. In addition, members of the airline's loyalty programme, Etihad Guest, will continue to earn miles on all fares in the sale. The one-off offer is valid for just 7 days, and fares can be booked on Etihad.com between now and 6 September 2016.

The sale will cover a wider range of cities including those served by the Etihad Airways Partners. As well as the 50% sale, there is also a chance for those in the UK and Ireland to enter into a prize draw (with no purchase necessary), by simply sending one email describing their dream travel experience to experiences@etihad.ae - for the chance to win a $200 Visa gift card, to enjoy on any experience - all with compliments of Etihad Airways.
