El Colegio Oficial de Farmacéuticos de Málaga y el Colegio Oficial de Médicos de Málaga han firmado un convenio de colaboración con el objetivo de elaborar programas de formación para los colegiados. Gracias a este acuerdo, se dotará de una mayor preparación a los profesionales sanitarios, asegurando una atención de calidad a la ciudadanía. Una de las primeras acciones será el desarrollo cursos sobre fórmulas magistrales para farmacéuticos y médicos.
Una fórmula magistral es un medicamento que el farmacéutico elabora para un paciente en concreto y siempre a partir de una prescripción médica. Se trata, por tanto, de un fármaco hecho a medida del paciente y con características ajustadas a sus necesidades. Las fórmulas magistrales son una de las actividades por excelencia de la profesión farmacéutica. Aunque a día de hoy se haya consolidado la fabricación industrial de medicamentos, la práctica de fórmulas magistrales sigue siendo un eje vital para la salud de muchos pacientes y responde a la necesidad de dispensar tratamientos específicos.
Al ser una labor que emana de la medicina y deriva en la farmacia, la colaboración entre ambas instituciones colegiales es muy favorable para la sociedad. El convenio marco de colaboración fue ratificado por Juan José Sánchez Luque, presidente del Colegio de Médicos de Málaga, y Francisco Florido, presidente del Colegio de Farmacéuticos, en la sede de este último.
El acuerdo también supondrá el asesoramiento mutuo, así como el intercambio de información y documentación. Del mismo modo, la cooperación en la realización de programas de formación en otros campos está abierta. El fin principal es trabajar de manera conjunta por el bienestar de pacientes y profesionales.
