Armenia to host Global Conference on Medical Tourism this september

                       

This September, Armenia will become a global meeting point for the rapidly growing medical tourism industry as it hosts the Global Conference on Medical Tourism, "Travel for Care, Stay for Healing: When Patients Become Guests," from 21–23 September 2026.

Organized by the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia in collaboration with UN Tourism, the conference will bring together leaders from healthcare, tourism, international organizations, insurance, investment, and the private sector to explore how destinations can build trust through high-quality care, innovation, and exceptional patient experiences.

As global demand for medical tourism continues to grow, Armenia is strengthening its position as a medical tourism destination. With highly skilled medical professionals, competitive treatment costs, and renowned hospitality, the country offers international visitors the opportunity to combine quality healthcare with wellness, culture, and recovery experiences.

By hosting the Global Conference on Medical Tourism, the Tourism Committee of Armenia is creating a platform for international dialogue, innovation, and partnership while highlighting Armenia’s potential as a trusted destination where visitors can access quality healthcare alongside authentic travel experiences.

The conference will explore key themes including the patient journey, quality and accreditation, digital health and artificial intelligence, wellness and preventive health, international partnerships, destination competitiveness, and much more. It will also provide a platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and new business opportunities across the healthcare and tourism sectors, reinforcing Armenia's ambition to strengthen its position as a medical tourism destination.

Armenia to Showcase its Tourism Potential at WTM LONDON 2025

  

Armenia proudly announces its participation in WTM London 2025, one of the world’s leading international travel and tourism events, taking place from November 4 to 6, 2025, at Excel London.

Armenia will be represented at Stand N7-412, where it will showcase the country’s timeless heritage, breathtaking nature, and rapidly growing tourism industry to global travel professionals and media representatives.

As the official organizer of Armenia’s national stand, the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Armenia aims to present the country’s diverse travel experiences — from cultural and historical tourism to adventure, eco, wellness, gastronomy, and wine tourism. A strong delegation of Armenian tour operators, travel agencies, and hospitality businesses will join WTM London 2025 to build new partnerships and strengthen Armenia’s visibility on the global tourism map.
