Diabetes Professional Care Boasts Show Stopping Show Features

Diabetes Professional Care 2016, held at London’s Olympia on 16 & 17 November, returns with a multitude of live show floor features. The two-day, free-to-attend, CPD accredited conference and exhibition will be offering a content rich educational programme with interactive features, debates and invaluable advice from some of the world’s leading healthcare professionals.
The Innovation Zone
New for 2016, The Innovation Zone presents visitors with a unique opportunity to get close to the people and technologies shaping the future of diabetes care. Attendees will be able to explore The Edge, a forum displaying the latest dynamic technology from exciting start-up companies. They will showcase new ideas, solutions and innovations to healthcare professionals responsible for commissioning, buying and delivering diabetes care. Diabetes Solutions, Entec Health and The Diabetic Boot Co are just some of the names signed up to participate.
Flow Technologies will be using The Edge to introduce the PulseFlowDF, its innovative medical device for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. PulseFlowDF combines two proven treatment modalities, with state-of-the-art wearable technology, to optimise ulcer healing.
Diabetes Solutions will be launching major new, innovative products, live on the showfloor. It will introduce iGlucose - its new blood glucose meter, DPNCheck - its hand-held device for screening and treating peripheral neuropathy, and iChroma – the new point-of-care device for monitoring key parameters in diabetes clinics.
Silhouette will present its Silhouette® System, a clinical decision support solution which enables remote monitoring and management of patients with active diabetes foot ulceration. This digital solution helps clinicians to generate images, ulcer measurements and wound healing outcomes data to support efficient, effective and evidence-based Multi-Disciplinary care.
THERAPYAUDIT will debut is new service TAPREVENT. This moves its well-established monitoring solution from hospitals into the community, providing multi-morbidity long term condition (LTC) management through monitoring of vital signs and coaching, starting with diabetes and hypertension. Good stabilisation and ongoing monitoring and coaching can prevent worsening of LTCs, leading to better wellbeing and reduced unplanned hospital admission and other intervention.
